Designed to introduce the dancer to different musical theatre styles, the class combines dancing and acting in a piece of choreography. A strong jazz emphasis provides the basis of the program where dancers learn original works and are challenged to bring the performance content (love, anger, humour) to life.  Musical Theatre classes are divided by both age and ability as to allow for appropriate Broadway styles & song selection.

Musical Theatre is a dance form that combines songs, acting and dance.  It is a theatrical performance where songs and dances are fully integrated into a well-made story.  Dancers wishing to pursue Musical Theatre must also be training in Jazz or Tap, as well as Ballet.  For students ages 9+.
