Chantelle Ward

Chantelle began her dance journey at the age of three when she started taking classes at the Young at Arts. Chantelle has remained a part of the YAA family her whole life, training with them until she was eighteen, and now teaching her own classes at the studio.
Chantelle has always loved performing and adores being able to share her passion with her students. She has taken part in workshops with Disney, as well as the Edge Performing Arts Centre in Hollywood. She has also performed onstage in Disneyland and in Disney’s Dance the Magic Parade. Since graduating high school, Chantelle has attended the Musical Theatre Program at Capilano University achieving both her diploma in Musical Theatre and her Bachelor of Performing Arts.
Chantelle’s show credits include: Crazy For You (Royal City Musical Theatre), Ruby Diamond in The Big Boom Theory (Gold Fever Follies), Anne of Green Gables (CapU Theatre), Dark of the Moon (Arbutus Studio), Jesus Christ Superstar (URP), The Drowsy Chaperone (Theatre Under the Stars), and The Secret Garden (Arbutus Studio). Chantelle also worked as the choreographer and dance captain for The Big Boom Theory and has been the Dance Captain for several other productions.
Chantelle continues to work in the theatre industry all while being an instructor at the Young at Arts. She is thrilled to share her knowledge and experiences with the YAA dancers!
