WEEKLY CLASSES RUN
SEPTEMBER THROUGH JUNE.
Great fun for young and old. Tap is an exciting form of dance in which dancers wear special shoes equipped with metal taps. Tap dancers use their feet like drums to create rhythmic patterns and timely beats. Precise steps in rhythmic unison give students an opportunity to follow exact instructions and add their own personal flair. Set to a variety of music including oldies, show tunes, and modern pop, your child will obtain confidence, coordination, and an appreciation for this classic and well-loved dance form.
This non-competitive program will cover a range of program elements including musicality, foot & ankle strength, coordination, performance quality, and precision. Dancers will be introduced to each element and then guided through the process of learning a full combination to be performed in a Recital at the end of the season!
All recreational students will be awarded a performance opportunity at the end of the season! Dancers will be provided with a professional costume to wear for their performances and photography sessions.
RECREATIONAL TAP PACKAGE INCLUDES:

We want to encourage our dancers to participate in as many styles as their heart’s desire. That is why we have designed a tiered tuition policy and offer a 10% discount for those taking 2 or more Recreational Classes!
